<p style="border: 0px; outline: 0px; font-size: 13px; vertical-align: baseline; background: transparent; list-style: none; box-sizing: border-box; font-family: &quot;Malgun Gothic&quot;, &quot;맑은 고딕&quot;, 돋움, Dotum, Tahoma, Arial; color: rgb(51, 51, 51);">   많은 관중이 그의 시구에 야유를 퍼붓는 자못 이색적인 광경이 돌발한 것이다. 더군다나 배 의원이 시구 후 자신의 SNS에 후기를 올린 것이 논란에 부채질했다. 그 글에 대해서는 굳이 왈가왈부하고 싶지 않다.    배 의원이 잠실구장이 있는 송파구 현역의원이어서 시구에 나서는 것 자체를 뭐라고 할 일은 아닐지도 모른다. 그가 야구를 좋아해서인지는 알 수 없으나, MBC 아나운서 시절 포함 특정인이 두 차례나 시구한다는 것 또한 지극히 이례적인 일이기도 하다.    하지만 그가 ‘자청’해서 시구를 했다는 사실을 알고 나서는 떨떠름할 수밖에 없다.&nbsp; 두산 구단 측은 “지역구 의원이고, (시구를) 하고 싶다고 해서 결정하게 된 것 ”이라고 배경을 설명했다.    말하자면, 해당 지역구 국회의원의 요청을 두산 구단이 받아들여서 이루어졌다는 얘기다. 단순한 과정이지만, 정치적인 오해의 소지가 다분한 일이다.&nbsp; 구단이 의원의 ‘자원 등판’을 묵살할 수도 없는 노릇이고, 보기에 따라서는 이른바 ‘갑질’ 논란을 불러일으킬 수도 있는 아주 모양 사나운 사례 다.     여태껏 지역구 국회의원이 구단에 직접 요청을 해서 시구한 것은 아마도 배 의원의 경우가 처음인 듯하다 . 산뜻해야 할 시구 행사가&nbsp;뒤 논란을 부르며 ‘변질’하는 것은 당연히 바람직하지 않다. 차라리 관중석에서 조용히 야구를 관람하고 돌아갔다면 이처럼 긁어 부스럼 격으로 시끄러워지지는 않았을 것이다. 구단이 '타의'에 의해서 이런 행사조차 '선택권'을 행사하지 못 하는 일이 다시는 없어야 할 것이다.
